Frequently asked questions

Will switching affect our current recurring donors?

No! No donor action is needed—recurring donations continue on the same schedules.

What happens to our donor data and transaction history?

All historical data remains in GivingFuel unchanged; only new (one-time and recurring) transactions use the new processor.

How does reconciliation using Webconnex Payments?

Fees are deducted before payout so deposits generally match your books. Note: chargebacks, refunds, or adjustments can affect exact matches. GivingFuel’s exporter includes payout and fee detail.

How do the fees compare?

Standard nonprofit‑oriented pricing (Cc: 2.9% + $0.30 / transaction; ACH: 1%). Volume discounts may be available—contact Sales for a custom quote.

When will deposits hit our bank after we switch?

Weekly cadence: cutoff Monday 11:59 PM PT, payout Wednesday, funds post Wed–Fri depending on your bank. The first payout may take one extra cycle, and holidays can shift timing. Daily payouts available for high-volume organizations.

Are there ACH timing or return‑window considerations?

ACH typically settles in ~5 business days and can be returned by the account holder for up to 60 days.

Can we run our old processor and Webconnex Payments simultaneously?

Yes! Customers can evaluate and move pages over gradually. Note: one payment processor per page.

No downtime, no donor disruption, no headaches... very low risk.
